Saying goodbye

The Husker volleyball team celebrated their final win in the NU Coliseum on Friday night.  They had just won against Northern Iowa in the first round of the NCAA tournament.  Next season the Huskers will move on to the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln’s Haymarket.  Fans stuck around for more than an hour to take final photos of the coliseum and reminisce.

Alex Michalak, a junior bio-chemistry major, has his beard cut and later shaved at the "Movembeard" celebration on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Neb. Participants grew facial hair all of November to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer research. He has been growing his beard and mustache since Aug. 14, 2011.
